Shooting in a clean room presents its own share of issues.  Once the scene starts, no one leaves set until the work is done.  This high tech corporate motion picture for IMMI, a fiber optic company, was shot in hi def, 1080i to create an ultra sharp image. Beauty shots are always a bit nicer shot on 35mm and by adding a jib arm on the shores of La Jolla, California, client San Diego Convis got the commercial they were looking for.
Director Bruce Caulk with DP Gordon Brown traveled to the Arabian Desert to shoot a film for the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.  Here Bruce communicates with a military helicopter to create a sand storm around a wandering Bedouin. Capturing on film a baseball traveling at 90mph from the pov of a catcher can be risky business.  So a housing was built with one inch thick Lexan to shoot through in order to handle multiple impacts.
